I would like to take this oppor- tunity to tell you that, although this is the first Egyptology page I logged on to, it is, without a doubt the best. I can surmise that from your content, presentation and overall look.
I am an avid amateur "egyptologist" I use the phrase loosely, because I cannot claim firm knowledge, only that, having been to Egypt twice, and willing to go a million times again, am smitten with the country, its people and its history.
I would like to hear from you, re- garding your experiences and stories regarding this subject. I am always gathering new info - I have several books, local South African newspaper clippings etc. and love to keep track of current developements on the Egyptian front.
Once again - kudo's to you for this magnificent site. Please feel free to drop me a note @ gdebeer@global.co.za
Cheers Gys de Beer (a.k.a.Horus)
