Sorry to say, but Gantenbrinks "door" within in the pyramid might be only the fixation for the hook of a steep plummet(so called alignement, to be used for ordinary surveying purposes, e.g., to verify a particular angle during the contruction!), of which the string passed away, but the hook and lead are still remaining within the pyramid or exhibited in the British Museum!
