If would welcome anyones comments about the possibility of the Quamran Essenes being an off-shoot from the the followers of Akenaton after his fall from grace! Similarities between the Priests of On and the Essene practices and beliefs have lead me to belive this is so and also the possibility that Christ himself and John the Baptist both were Essene initiates and therefore followers of Akenaton.
